Italian luxury furniture at M&O Paris: We Boast of What We Trade

When a furniture manufacturer makes something really special, for example, custom-made, high-end, one-of-a-kind designer items – in other words, something that’s beyond mass production, it’s quite understandable that such a producer participates in prestigious trade events. Exhibitions serve as a place to showcase new collections, spot emerging trends in design, as well as to communicate with prospective business partners and customers.

Bellavista Collection, a well-known brand that manufactures Italian luxury furniture, regularly participates in important trade events, such as International Furniture Salon in Milan, Maison&Objet in Paris and others. Each edition gives participants an occasion to demonstrate their accomplishments and keep abreast of the trends in the industry.

Bellavista’s representatives recently returned from Maison&Objet Paris – a semiannual exhibition, which took place on September 7-11, 2018. During these four days visitors could view the company’s exhibits at Maison hub, FOREVER section, Hall 7, Stand F126 / G125.

Style and Quality Speak for Themselves

Impeccable sophistication of elaborated designs, chic and grandeur of the pieces from well-known brands, top quality materials and exquisite workmanship – that’s what visitors saw at FOREVER section. It brought together producers of deluxe pieces that never go out of vogue. The same could well be said about Dulcechina – a new collection, which Bellavista presented at Maison&Objet this September.

Attilio Zanni, a highly talented designer who created all these eye-catching Dulcechina items, this time got his inspiration from fascinating Orient. Centuries-old Italian traditions of cabinet-making got entwined with Oriental motifs, which resulted in a wonderful distinctive look of the pieces exhibited at M&O.

By the way, signor Zanni – a genius of an all-round designer and the Bellavista Collection’s co-founder – himself is the company’s claim to fame. For many years he creates brilliant designs for Bellavista’s furniture, lighting fixtures, boiserie, various decorative elements for interior design.

This year, the company’s stand at Maison&Objet resembled a living room stylishly furnished with splendidly-looking items. All of the exhibits were created in 2018; most of them belong to Dulcechina collection.  What is more, these items aren’t just showpieces. If you wish, you can well purchase most of them from Bellavista’s website right now!

What about DULCECHINA sofa shown at the latest edition of M&O? If you had been there, you would have enjoyed its soft velvet upholstery, elegant moka stained oak base and details made of brass with antique bronze finish. Just visit Bellavista’s website – and you can have it. What’s more, you can choose either fabric or fine leather upholstery.

MARRIOTT

A modest but elegant mirror with concealed LED lights, which pleased the eyes of M&O visitors just recently, is also waiting for you at the website. You can have its frame made of oak and walnut, natural or stained – six kinds of wood in total.

You will have even more options if you choose DON PEDRO side table – one more of the M&O exhibits. Its solid wooden top is available in eight kinds of oak and walnut – the two woods Bellavista’s furniture makers love to work with.

GOLDEN BRIDGE

Credenza also turned heads at M&O this September. The showpiece was made of rosewood with the top inset of white marble – but you will have much more choice if you wish to have it. GOLDEN BRIDGE is available in as many as ten wood options! Magnificent ebony, American walnut, moka stained walnut, dark stained walnut, rosewood, grey stained oak, moka stained oak, natural oak, grey sukupira, black sycamore – it’s up for you to decide what material your credenza will be made of.

The optional top inset also gives plenty of choice, from white calacatta marble and yellow breccia damascata to striato grey and emperador dark brown marble.  Just imagine what a lot of combinations there could be!

Time-Proven Masterpieces: Showpieces from Past Exhibitions that Became Popular

Trade events tend to end, but the showpieces don’t disappear. Many of the grand-looking pieces you can see at Bellavista Collection’s website, once caught visitors’ eyes at exhibitions. For example, in January 2013, Bellavista displayed at Maison&Objet a number of items, which are among the most popular with buyers. Customers still love ODETTE benches, JOSEPHINE sofas, GRACE armchairs.

Ingenious look of TULIPE LOW and BOUQUET BOIS tables still strikes the eye. Timeless elegance of BAROCCA boiserie attracts people who value somewhat classic-looking interiors. Graceful and stylish lighting fixtures, such as MADEMOISELLE chandelier, BUTTERFLY and AMELIE table lamps also were first presented at Maison&Objet five long years ago.

Two years later, in January 2015, Maison&Objet visitors saw a set of showpieces, most of which remained in Bellavista Collection. These time-tested masterpieces are still loved by the company’s customers.

Respectably-looking and cozy NAPOLEONE and BOSTON sofas proved to be top sellers and are eagerly sought ever since then. The same could be said about other Bellavista’s exhibits as well.

GRACE WOOD and MINNIE

Armchairs, first shown at that edition of M&O, turned into best sellers. So did DON DIEGO and TOM tables, HIM bar unit, MONTMARTRE credenza, MARGOT dining chair and an attractive decorative panel called ROSE.

Unlike the showpieces, items from Bellavista Collection have at least several wood options each. For instance, PIGALLE etagere shown at M7O 2015, was made of beige-colored Champagne oak. The PIGALLE etagere you can see at Bellavista’s website, can be made of eight kinds of wood, from champagne stained oak to almost black moka stained oak. And so is DANTE desk, a great choice for a home office. Eight wood options enable you to have it in a wide range of colors, from taupe to dark brown.

Lighting fixtures that attracted attention of the public at that edition of Maison&Objet now are popular choices of people who value beautility, i.e. elegance and functionality at the same time. Floor lamps SISTER, TOSCA, and LANTERNA are perfect examples of beautility… as well as actually any of these exhibits.

All of them came to existence as showpieces – now they form the core of Bellavista Collection. And this collection of masterpieces constantly grows – edition by edition, year by year.
