Just One of Many: A Set of Pieces for a Perfect Bedroom in Bellavista Style
For high-end furniture makers, participation in trade events is a must-do. During exhibitions, they demonstrate new collections and get inspiration for future ones, share ideas, conclude agreements and contracts with business partners…
That is why, Bellavista Collection regularly showcases its Italian luxury furniture at Salone Internazionale del Mobile. Well, it has been doing so – from the very start of the brand in 2010 till 2019, which turned out to be the last live edition. The notorious pandemic of corona virus undermined designers’ and business people’s plans for the future in almost all industries. However, trade professionals, whose vocation is related to interior design and furniture production, do hope that the live edition planned for April 2022, will be held at last.
Looking forward to the future, let’s hark back to some of the previous editions of the Salone del Mobile.
Bellavista’s Bedroom Zones at Previous editions of the Salone
Ever since 2012, Bellavista’s booths at trade fairs had resembled splendidly furnished apartments, where each set of showpieces formed a separate zone – for example, the sleeping area of such a booth looked like a luxurious bedroom.
In 2019, the bedroom set included VENICE bed and MIAMI nightstand, plus a chic MI-SERVO valet and elegant LILLIGRE bench. AGATA sconce on the wall spiced up the interior.
Two years before, in 2017, the set included a tandem of STRENG headboard and AMLETO bed, together with a time-proven BEVERLY nightstand.
If we rewind two more years, to iSaloni 2015 – in the bedroom zone there stood a luxurious NISHA bed and MARCANTONIO nightstand, looking so grand thanks to its external structure made of extra-clear glass.
Equally Beautiful and Versatile
In addition to their brilliant design and top quality, all pieces from Bellavista Collection are well-known for their remarkable combinability. Even the ones from different collections, designed in different years, easily form great-looking ensembles. For instance, PISOLO bed and BEVERLY nightstand, both designed in 2014, look excellent together with LANTERNA floor lamp, created in 2015. What about choosing this combination for your bedroom?
These three pieces will surely harmonize with everything you already have in your bedroom, whatever style you prefer. The same could be said about almost any other item from Bellavista Collection, thanks to the brilliant talent of Attilio Zanni – the brand’s co-founder, chief designer, and head of the design department.
First, take a look at PISOLO bed. It’s rather large: 232 centimeters (91.3 inches) long, 37 centimeters (14.5 inches) high and 320 centimeters (126 inches) wide – together with the headboard, which is 115 centimeters (45.3 inches) high. While ordering this nice bed, please bear in mind that its frame will be shipped to you assembled.
PISOLO’s feet detail, made of hammered cast brass with an antique bronze finish, look gorgeous together with Bellavista branded fabric of the upholstery.
By the way, you will be asked to choose among multiple options of the upholstery material: the fabric of category A, B, C, lux and extra lux.
In addition, you can provide fabric when ordering this bed, and it will be upholstered exactly in this material. Bellavista Collection offers such an option for most of its upholstered pieces – sofas, armchairs, benches, etc.
BEVERLY in fact is the name for three different pieces – two nightstands and a drawer unit. All three have a metal base with an antique bronze or antique brass finish for you to choose from, with the handles made of the same material.
The structure, made of solid wood (Italian poplar), could be veneered outside with as many as differently-colored ten woods. Among them are such chic-looking exotic species as ebony, rosewood, grey sukupira, as well as common yet beautiful woods like oak and American walnut, both natural and stained. The inner parts of the drawers are veneered with lovely honey-colored maple wood.
As to dimensions, the nightstands differ in width – one of them is 60 centimeters (23.6 inches), and the other is 90 centimeters (35.4 inches) wide. Their height and depth are the same: 55 and 46 centimeters (21.7 and 18.1 inches) respectively. The wider nightstand has two drawers, while the harrower piece has just one. As to the drawer unit, it has four drawers; it’s 130 centimeters wide, 55 centimeters deep and 79 centimeters high (which is 51.2, 21.7, and 31.1 inches).
People often place a floor lamp in a bedroom, because it provides soft cozy light. LANTERNA floor lamp was designed in 2015, but still remains a bestseller. Its design is elegant yet unhackneyed; this lighting fixture blends into the interior extremely well.
Its structure is made of cast brass with antique bronze finish, which is Bellavista’s favorite material for lamps and many other items. It not only LANTERNA looks beautiful, but also goes extremely well with other materials – in this case, with clear and sandblasted glass its lampshade is made of. The shade itself is cylindrical, which makes it somehow resemble an old-style lantern. The overall design of the lamp, however, is quite modern, and LANTERNA looks really stylish. If you take a closer look at its structure, you will notice a small cast metal figure of a hippopotamus, which is the brand’s long-standing mascot. Besides, the base of the lamp bears a nice engraving, which reads “Bellavista Collection”.
What is more, this lamp is adjustable in height: its structure could be from 132 to 163cm (52-64 inches) high.
As for the voltage, the brand traditionally offers two options for all its lighting fixtures: for buyers from Europe – 220V-50 HZ, and for the USA – 110V-60 HZ. The cord is of black color in both variants of LANTERNA.
All in all, this trio is just one example of how simple items from Bellavista Collection form sets, equally beautiful and adaptable. It was just one example out of many. On the brand’s website, you can find everything you need to furnish any room or even your entire home in inimitable Bellavista style – luxurious, elegant and comfortable.
