Bellavista Collection’s Pieces All Over the World: An Awesome Project in Venezuela

You probably can get an exact number if you ask Bellavista Collection, how many Italian luxury furniture pieces it has been produced and sold since 2010, the year when this brand announced itself. But it will be extremely difficult to determine all the multitude of locations these items now could be found. You might see interiors furnished with pieces from Bellavista virtually everywhere – from Italy (which is not surprising, because Bellavista Collection is an Italian brand) and Europe to the Middle East, Asia and both Americas. And it isn’t actually a surprise.

During the twelve years of its existence, Bellavista Collection has co-operated with talented interior designers and architects all over the world.  Both rising talents and gurus of design appreciated prime quality and impeccable style of every piece offered by Bellavista.

Andrés Alibrandi, a renowned architect from Venezuela, definitely is a guru. After graduating from the José María Vargas University in 1991, he has become known as the master of intellectual interior design and the pioneer of restaurant and concept store design in Latin America. His firm, named Arquetipo Andrés Alibrandi, is located in Altamira – an important business, residential and cultural center of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.

Open Arquetipo’s website, and on the very top you’ll see six beautiful images, paying tribute to the brands Andrés Alibrandi co-operates with. Needless to say, Bellavista Collection is among them. The great photo depicts NAPOLEONE sofa, upholstered in bright blue velvet, ALIBABA’ coffee table with a RHINO statuette on it, two VANITY mirrors, and TOSCA floor lamp.

There are lots more shots from previous projects at the designer’s Instagram account as well.

Let’s take a look at one of his most recent projects – a dining room for a luxurious home in Caracas, furnished with some pieces from Bellavista Collection. Interestingly, they were created in different years, but look together as if they were a set.

For example, MASARYK, designed in 2016, turned out to be a great match to DOUBLE V, the dining table created two years later.

MASARYK, a dining chair with optional armrests, is still among Bellavista’s bestsellers. Its structure is made of dark-colored moka stained beechwood; as to the armrests, they are made of brass with antique bronze finish. Both materials do harmonize with either fabric or leather it could be upholstered in. Stitches of matching color serve as decoration, so MASARYK looks somehow strict yet respectable.

The size of MASARYK is optimal for most of people to find this chair really cozy.  Its seat is 58 centimeters (22.8 in.) wide and 60 centimeters (23.6 in.) deep, with the seat height of 48 cm (18.9 inches).

The same could be said about dimensions of DOUBLE V. If you order it, you’ll be asked to choose among three variants of this table that differ in width. All three tables are 110 centimeters (43.3 inches) deep and 75 centimeters (29.5 inches) high, while the tabletop could be 220, 260, and 300 centimeters (86.6, 102.4, and 118.1 inches respectively).

The and base and top of DOUBLE V are made of thick boards of Italian poplar and veneered with natural and stained oak or walnut, three option available for each.

What’s special about design of this remarkable table is combination of wooden boards with metal rods. The boards form the silhouette of the letter W, if you look at them from the side.

One more item chosen for this deluxe dining-room is TREE cabinet. It belongs to the latest collection that turned heads at this year’s edition of the Salone del Mobile. The name TREE probably comes from the silhouette of a tree trunk you  can see on its door. A strip of varnished wood with highlighted texture (it’s a thick board cut out of a real tree trunk, by the way), superbly contrasts with Bellavista Nuances finish which serves as a background. The finish comes in two equally attractive options: matte lacquer and glossy lacquer.

Nobody will argue that choosing lighting fixtures is very important: they are an important part of interior design. For that dining room, the architect chose PEOPLE chandelier and IGNIS sconce.

The pending lamp PEOPLE really warrants its name and instantly attracts attention. Its base, made of cast brass with antique bronze finish, is decorated with small lifelike statuettes, depicting people. You can see an old man walking with his dog; two girls, standing and looking away into the distance; a young man sitting on the edge, legs dangling down… These figures, along with all metal details, are cast in Bellavista’s own foundry and refined by hand.

Besides, PEOPLE is available in two size options. The chandelier could be square or rectangular: the former is 50 x 50 centimeters (19.7 x 19.7 inches), and the latter is 120 x 36 centimeters (47.2 x 14.2 inches). Both are 92.5 centimeters high (36.4 inches) high. As you see, this lamp will be suitable for rather large rooms with high ceilings.

IGNIS sconce, designed in 2017, will look great in any room, whatever its size, especially since it is now offered in two size options – the second one was added in 2021. The design of IGNIS is laconic yet extremely elegant: its overall outline somehow resembles a vintage lantern. The combination of antique bronze finish of its structure and sandblasted glass of its diffuser also proved to be successful, leaving a strong impression of harmony and timeless beauty.

In fact, the same could be said about each piece from Bellavista Collection brand. Thanks to their excellent design, these seemingly separate items easily form ensembles that are perceived as an inseparable whole. It may well be one of the reasons why designers all over the world co-operate with Bellavista Collection, choosing its items for their projects. That’s why, however far you travel, you have a chance to see furniture from this renowned Italian brand, say, in a hotel or restaurant somewhere in Far East or Latin America.
